John + Ruth are staying in London to have their baby. Their visa paperwork hasn't come through in time for them to return to Pakistan to have their baby there. They have been assured their visas will definitely come; it's simply a matter of time. In the meantime they need to find short-term accommodation for three to four months as they have been staying in a friend's spare room since September. Their plan, assuming the visas come through shortly, is to return to Pakistan at some point after the baby has been born. Please pray that they find accommodation and that the birth goes well.

Those of you who were in church last Sunday will have heard that our new vicar is Stephen Coulson who is presently the vicar of St. Mark's Mitcham. We look forward to welcoming Stephen at his institution on Monday 14th May. Please put the date in your diary! Here is a message from Stephen to the church:

Thank you to the whole church for the extraordinary prayer and care that went into the process. We are absolutely delighted, thrilled, humbled and praising God for His leading.

We continue to collect food for the Vauxhall Foodbank who provide food to local families. Please help by bringing your donations of food next week. The food needs to be non-perishable. So far we have contributed 205.88kg of food which is enough to provide 325 meals. If you would like to help in other ways please speak to Ebele Efobi who is our representative.
